I think it's b/c they're getting a little hard to find brand new. If you look at their used prices on Amazon, users are selling Doom 3 for $3.98 and Return to Castle Wolfenstein for $2.48.

yeah i def agree with you on that but i seriously doubt that anyone is gonna buy a game like that for 200 bucks even if it was the last new one on earth but these older games are a lot harder to find especially xbox ones such as halo one and two and the older far cry games but i think once the used ones are gone from stores like gamestop they'll be impossible to find

Hence the reason why people rack the prices up on said games.

The very most I ever paid for a game was a 150 for Panzer Dragoon Saga, and I don't regret it one bit.

What do you expect? They're rare. When a new game comes out and I know it's going to be hard to I have to buy it day one even if I don't play it months later.

Well, seeing as retail prices for new games where I live are about $90-100, I think $70 would be fantastic. But inflated prices are normal to me these days. It's a bit sad.

Low Supply + Increased Demand = High Prices
