For example if it's snowing outside does it put you in mood for a game that has a snowy atmosphere?

It does for me mostly alot of the times in the Winter I get a craving to play some Indigo Prophecy just on the setting alone same with some other titles. Spring and Summer have the same effect on me if it's a nice and sunny day out I will get the urge to play some GTAV and drive around Los Santos ect...

Overcast and rainy weather increases my mood for gaming in general. And I did enjoy playing on the PUBG Vikendi map during the winter.

Now that I think about it, yep. Depends on the day too. Always enjoy playing games on a Friday and through the weekend compared to the rest of the week.

Yes. During Autumn and Winter, I get a strong urge to play fantasy RPGs and horror games.

Resident Evil 4 released during the winter of my senior year of high school. Dark, rainy, Nag Champa incense and lots of fun.

Yeah makes me feel less guilty about sitting on my ass. Like "Oh no, it's raining and my day off...guess I'll just have to sit here and play games all day."

Some weather effects when done right make me feel really cosy. Oddly enough it's usually fog and misty areas. Suppose that's one reason I invest into Survival Horror games so frequently.
