Call of Duty 7 was announced by Treyarch, as is to be set in Vietnam. It could apparently be releasing as soon as this fall, and I don't know if I'm going to get it because I've been disappointed with the Call of Duty games recently put out - i.e. World at War, Modern Warfare 2. There's little to no info so I can't really say much more :P But will you be planning on... Getting the game no matter what Not getting the game Deciding about getting it or not
it is supposed to be out by the fall....superlate...man....these games....must be announced only a month after its annoucemnert....i cant wait...so long....
I'll get it if it doesn't run on IW.net or some other thing. That's probably my chief reason for not getting MW2.
Also, I want to experience Vietnam CoD style, simple as that. I've never had much faith in Treyarch, but I'll know the setting will be handled better than it will under some other unknown developer.
If its like waw i wont be buying it. I would prefer to be set in cold war. Like rogue warrior, US VS Russian soviet union rather being set in jungles against VC!
I won't try another COD game unless I see an attempt with WWI.
MW2 and Bad Company 2 will hold me over until then, which is never.

You'd rather play a WWI game rather than a Vietnam game? Weird. Well actually i would like to see a ww1 game myself. and he has a point. many games that were placed in vietnam really sucked. then again modern warfare brought call of duty out of world war 2.
not sure, im going to wait to see how it looks. If its anything like mw2 then i won't get it. if its more like WaW then I might get it. either way im going wait a while to see reviews and if there are any retarded things in the game (dual shotguns). I think they need to cut the whole perk system down a bit though, it got a little crazy in mw2.

Nazi zombies was the best part in WaW. But even the multiplayer in WaW was flawed (mp40). That why ill wait a couple weeks to even consider buying the next one.

Unless CoD reinvents itself (and I really mean reinvent, not just textures/weapons). I might be interrested.
But then again I too would prefer a ww1 setting to Vietnam, it is like Vietnam is cursed by Devs, since most (if not all) games set there were horrible.
And Id also like the next CoD to come out in something like 4 years. New engine, update gameplay (alot) get new ideas, and influences. As it stands now I cant figure out a reason to get another game of the franchice.

*fingers crossed for VC zombies. and expand it the concept too, something more than a house would be nice (never played any of the zombie DLC, were any of those a more fleshed out, bigger MP map?)
also, I hope they don't carbon copy all the perks/attachments again, go ahead (treyarch), be bold (if Activision will let you).

I had friends who liked a couple of the levels with all the perks, but every time i played i liked the first lever but also hopefully bigger first lvl {sry im drizl}
