I enjoyed the single player mode on Split Second it's great fun I like how it's based around a reality TV show and the music is fantastic the style of it was really nice. But Blur has a better multiplayer mode especially with 20 players in one race which makes it even more fun. I'd have to say Blur mostly for the online it's multiplayer has given me a lot of replay value the leveling up system is good and I enjoy playing team racing and motor mash (destruction derby) online.

Just bought both games 2 days ago. Blur for me has more lasting appeal. SS is fun, but more of a rental imo. Blurs SP is addictive mostly because of the demands you have to meet to progress...

Blur FTW. It never gets boring, it's simple compared to Split Second. I would agree with the GS review, it is a 'one-trick-pony'.
