I really liked God of War IIs. it's simple but still suggests epicness.
not sure what my favorite boxart is of all time, but so far for this gen I'd have to go with

I think it has to be the Dante's Inferno - Death Edition
The hologram on the box was pretty cool.
I loved the design, for me it just screamed awesome.
shame the game didn't live up to it's boxart promise

I live in Canada and don't get this awesome boxart. Apperantly it's an USA exclusive cover (Doesn't make much sense)

This one looks the best out of all the other's though, and the Ico one looked really amazing, too.
Not only is the red/white contrast totally awesome, but it depicts a dragon shaped out of spilt blood. I also love the lone knight in an idle position just standing in the middle of a corpse-ridden battlefield. It'd be even better without the sorceress and the stupidly needless subtitle, though.
Another simple dual-color contrast this time in a cIassic black and white combo. Max and Mona gazing at each other in a tight embrace with their guns in their grip. The cover is made complete with the brilliant subtitle The Fall of Max Payne - a film noir love story. You know it won't end well.
