Anything that involves status effects is pretty worthless to me. I agree completely with Siren on that one. Hades FF7, and most of XIIs summons are not worth using. They're fun to watch but it can usually lead to wasting alot of magic during battles.

Hades (and knight of Round) are the KEY to defeat Ruby Weapon in ff7.
I agree the summon took all of the skill and need for items skills and magic out of the game. After a while it took the fun out of the game. My last time through I refused to get it just so I wouldn't be tempted.
Quezecotl, from FFVIII. :P I absolutely hate that one. I don't know why either. And any others that don't do any damage. I can heal myself, I just have a hard time dealing the damage sometimes.

lol there is a no wrong way to use Knights of the Round, people just said they didnt like using it because it decreased the amount of skill you needed and pretty much made the game easy as soon as you get it.

Hey was a last resort for me though. Because he did die a lot. Also forgot a couple, Carbuncle (used him once or twice) and Knights of the Road was the biggest waste of time....
Gilgamesh, in both FF IIIV and FF X, X cost money,IIIV he never procced ever i got him one time when i fought a low level to help level up quistes since i only used the gun person(i forget his name) , Squall, and Zell
Yes, Gilgamesh may look cool but his Excalipoor and Excaliber are worse than Odin's immediate and deadly Zantetsuken. I also don't like Carbuncle, Chocobo and Mog too much despite their appearance. For Alexander (in FF8), I expected a holy-figure GF but instead got disappointed with a large mechanical robot.
the worst summons are the ones inkindom hearts. they are the biggest waste of time. and i disagree with you i like valefor. Ixion is my least fave from x
Carbuncle. Whilst I could see opportunities where using this Summon may have been useful, I barely ever did, and it was a big disappointment when I used it for the first time.
in tactics war of the lions the summons dont do much damage at all, and they take too long to do. I knwo they have a good range, but then again so does judgement blade and hallowed bolt
no belias is useful against king bomb. all the damge it does to belias is absorbed and it hits about 2000. not high but if the summoner uses a bacchuus wine... how can u not like ixion
My least fav is knights of the round for the same reasons stated above. It takes 5 minutes or something for each attack and I don't have the patience for that. I wanna play the game, not watch a movie.
