I agree that Rikku is useless.

FFVII: Cait Sith

FFVIII: I pretty much use them all.

FFX: Kimahri

FFXII: Penelo and Fran

Towards the end of the game no. Of course everyone has used every characters before right.

In FFIV, I never used Edward (I mean, of course I used him, you had to; but when you had the option to choose who you wanted in your party, I never chose him). Same with Gau in FFVI, I hardly used Strago either. Then in FFVII, I never used Cait Sith and hardly used Tifa.magitekk

well, i think that for me it all depends on whether or not i actually like them within the context of the storyline, but for me its...

FFVI - locke - I'm sorry, but aside from when something has an item that is actually worth stealing, i just never use him. at all.

FFVII - Cait Sith - Even though he can be a majorly powerful character, but he is such a #@£$ in the storyline, that i just never want to use him.

FFVIII - I use everyone, as the character customisation is just brilliant in this game.

FFIX - I never use Freya. She just bores me.

FFX - I have to say Lulu and Rikku, as i think that Yuna's base magic stat is just better, and you can teach her to cast black magic anyway. and Rikku is just useless.

FFXII - Ashe and Basch. They are both just puny characters, and the voice acting is the very worst of a very bad cast.

FFVII - Cait Sith...I just really don't like him.

FFVIII - Selphie...I think she is incredibly annoying.

FFIX - Quina...just a silly character that I really never took the time to use.

FFX - Rikku...kinda gets lost in the mix behind all the characters who are actually useful.

FFXII - Penelo...not a fan and she can definitely get quite annoying too.  Vaan...sucks as a main character.

I love Quina personally. He/She is one of my most used characters. 

I only use Wakka in FF10 if there's a flying enemy. :P

Haha I love Quina too...just not in battle.  He/she can get serious at important times in the story and some of the stuff he/she says is just great.  Liked Quina a lot better than Amarant...he was just dumb.

I only use Wakka in FF10 if there's a flying enemy. :P

 Its not that he wasn't good in terms of skill, I just disliked his design and character lol. :D
