I would love to have the characters that can deal the most number of hits (and talking about able to deal max damage so 9999 damage for FF7,8,9 = 99999 damage in X,X-2)

Cloud (omnislash)... I would love to have Cid (FF7), but I still have to see him do max damage in all hits of the Highwind limit.

Hmmm, I'll go with...  Cait Sith, the Spoony Bard, and Quina......  Okay, yeah I'm joking.

I would go with:  Aeris, Cloud, and Terra (This is of course assuming that either the 9999 limit is off for early characters or is on for later characters).  That way you've got an awesome healer, Cloud's Omnislash, and a summoner who's half-Esper.

Nobody said anything about the team only having playable characters. Oh, btw, I threw the tonberry in there to balance things out. (Wouldn't want my team to be too powerful right?)

Lvl 99 Cloud with Ultima Weapon only does about 9000 with each slash, but that's just because I overloaded him with Materia. And I thought it was 13. Oh well. Regardless, Auron can do 99999 every turn if need be. Cloud can only do 39996 with a 4X Slash equipped, and that's saying more then enough for Squall. Squal is lucky to do 8000 at lvl 100 (From a normal physical attack that is. Lionheart does all 9999's, but still, no contest).
