Least favourite FF characters?

I know we all love Final Fantasy on here, but there have to be some characters that you really do not like in the series.We can't love them all!

 Some of these may be a little controversial, but I have weird taste when it comes down to characters. I really didn't like any of the characters in FFXII aside from Fran and Balthier. I don't know why, I just found that I didn't really care about any of them. I also really couldn't stand Yuna, at all. Tidus was a little irritating but Yuna just really got to me most of the time.

My least favorite characters would have to be Rikku from FFX-2. She wasn't too bad in FFX but still... and Vanille from FFXIII. I started hating Vanille the moment I saw her. ( and her stupid figurine dosent want to stay up in my store! I keep having to pick her up! ) Thats on the female side.

On the male side, I would have to say.. ... ... I can't think of anyone :shock:

I know a lot of people who dislike Wakka, but I quite liked him! He was irritating as mini-Wakka in Kingdom Hearts, but he was alright in FFX in my books.

The way he was dressed, the way he talked, and the fact that his main weapon was a ball plus his only reason for being with them was because he was a guardian. I just didn't care for anything about him and I never used him if I didn't have to.

How can you hate hope or count him your least favorite. You see is evolution through the story from a kid who didn't know how to deal with what was going on around him and change into a confident and strong individual who continuously keeps pushing the group to move forward and save Cacoon. Plus, he's the strongest magic user in the game.

I also agree that Vaan wasn't a very good character let alone the lead character.

Edward is actually pretty powerful at endgame in the GBA version, and he's useful in the DS version. I can see how you'd hate him before those ones came out, but not after. Plus there's the fact that he's THE spoony bard.Yonathin3155

yeah i didn't think vaan was the best leading character but if he was a supporting character i think he would be fine.

Delita and... aerith haha I was the only one out of my friends at the time to have gotten tifa during the date scene because I never missed a chance to treat aerith badly :twisted: 

I guess I'll go over each game I've played individually:

FFII (psp remake) : I'd say Minwu. I know he had craploads of spells, but I just never needed any of them other than cure.

FFIII (DS remake): Arc. It's not that I didn't like him, he was just my least favorite out of the four.

FFIV: Oh goodness, definitely Edward. He was always so useless to me in every single way.

FFV: I didn't like Galuf too much (don't kill me!)

FFVI: Gau and Strago, the two I never used. I didn't like Mog, Umaro, Gogo, or Relm that much either, but they had their worth.

FFVII: I never used Cait Sith.

FFVIII: I didn't like Irvine much, I just never put him in the party.

FFIX: Quina, mostly. Just didn't like the character. I guess he/she is one of the characters in the game that supposedly has the most potential of being a deadly weapon later on in the game, but I just didn't want he/she in my party ever.

By game-

FFI: No characters to like/dislike, really. :/
FFII: Guy. I don't like the "dumb but strong" type characters.
FFIII: Same case as FFI.
FFIV: Edward. Seriously, an 8 year old girl has more guts than you man. He got better in The After Years, though.
FFV: Never cared much for Krile.
FFVI: Gau. Ugh.
FFVII: Barret, though he wasn't that bad.
FFVIII: Selphie and Zell. Good lord, I hate those two.
FFIX: Eiko grinded my gears.
FFX: Tidus, Rikku, Wakka. Didn't care for Khimari or Lulu. :/
FFXII: Penelo.
FFXIII: I liked all of them, but my least favorite would probably be Snow.

selphie, zell, squall, the sorceress in VIII, eiko in IX, kimahri, yuna, rikku from X, vaan, penelo, ashe, larsa from XII, characters from the other games I either like or not bothered about.A_Fading_Scream

Tidus is my absolute least favorite. Someone tape his mouth shut so he will quit making noise with it. All he ever did was whine, and it was annoying as hell. HE is, by far, the worst lead character...and overall character

Oh goodness, talk bout Tidus being annoying, Wakka was the absolute worst. I was so tired of him saying something with 'yah' at the end of each thing he said.

Snow from XIII is so annoying, I would kill him all the time if the option to attack a group member or wasn't removed :Ptekken220

I didn't care for the way Tidus was dressed or how he talked most of the time but the romance between him and Yuna was perfect. :)

I just started FF IX again and Adelbert really annoys me!

1. Terra is the main character before Celes stole the spotlight. (not that it really matters, the story is about Terra.)

2. Celes special move was not as good as Terra's.

3. I like the Terra X Locke paring better.

4. Terra had a more interesting back-story.

5. Terra develops better as a character. (Terra develops more, Celes is more or less the same character at the end.)

6. Terra does not need the crystals to use magic.

7. Terra is half-esper, Celes is not.

8. Terra rides the Magitic armor.

9. I think Celes is one of the most overrated FF characters ever. (by her fans at least.)
