I know that is kind of an awkward topic title but I couldn't think of a better one:P Actually, I thought we could use another thread and here is the topic of the thread. If you could have any spin off or sequel/prequel/midquel in the Final Fantasy series what would it be? X-3, IX.5, Final Fantasy Rockband. I know this is somewhat of a weird topic but either have fun with it or shut me down now:P (The topic not me personally:P)
I don't think this is too weird of a topic at all. Some people like to complain about Square's sequels and spin-offs, but it definitely doesn't hurt to talk about it. And these games are so character-centric, you can't help but want to see more of your favorites. Personally, I would love to see sequels or spin-offs of both VI and IX. They are two of my all-time favorite games and and they both have a lot of characters that I would like to see return. Maybe an "After Years" style game like they did for IV.
It seems like I hear about those two alot as games that they could so more with. I wonder why they don't because it seems like each of them as a good amount of following and more stories to be told.
I'll definitely love a FFVIII-2 one day on the PS4 & X720 with an HD remake of FFVIII on the same platforms, if only I managed to work or own SE I'll make it happen :D.

They can as [spoiler] Ultimecia didn't really vanished, she can return over and over, they should somehow kill her in VIII-2 by maybe travelling by time when she re-appear and kill her before possessing Edea [/spoiler] so they still can continue the story if they want.
The Dissidas are kinda like time travel but I guess not really since they are just multidimensional travel plus they aren't in the main series of FF technically. FFX kind of used or showed time travel as well.
I know people will get annoyed with this but another installment in the FFVII compilation is something I would like. They have alread set up for another game. Genesis was shown in dirge and he has returned. Rufus is also still alive and his motives are never good. Although Genesis angle would require Cloud to be focus again. This does not bother me though. There is also Weiss. I would like to see how Cloud Tifa and Densel are doing as well as Vincent and Shelke.
It would be kinda neat if they had a create your own final fantasy final fantasy game. I have no idea what exactly that means or what it would entale but the thought excited me.
Final Fantasy IX~2 where Kuja is still alive. VIII and IX need sequels badly. FFV,FFIV, FFVII,FFX,FFXII,FFXIII have all gotten sme sort of sequel treatment.
I enjoyed Advent Children but at the same time even if that didn't count VII had a good amount of other games that were affiliated with it like Dirge or Crisis Core.
I do not think its the best but it is my favorite. FFXII has the best ending in my opinion. "Even a stray has pride".... "You can burn in hell Gabranth"
The one thing that really grabbed me with FFX was the pacing. I could take my time and make choices in the turn based system. I didn't find out till later that that wasn't the case in other FFs' :P It didn't take away from the strategy of the game but made it easier to grasp starting out I think. Then I played X-2 and I was like :cry: why do I have .02 seconds to make decisions :cry:
Of course but FFX it took me 5 years until I finally got to the boss and I got the game when I was in 2nd grade. I skiped right through the sphere grid process and never new why everyone was so hard further into it. I finally found out what the sphere grid did. I was amazed how I made it all the way to Evrae without using it.
Thats actually really impressive that you made it that far. It sounds kinda like a very long and painful process if you did all that without leveling up.
Oh yes it was and it involved stratagy to get there when I was stuck at the Al Bhed hideout in Bikanel I had to make another file to get Khimahri Stone Breath to beat the Chimeras.
Jeez your attacks probably did hardly any damage and didn't didn't restore your HP or MP every battle like XIII. That sounds like a Platinum trophy to me :P
Nope, you may not believe but whenever I got to the boss I couldnt beat at that time I just made a new file. I had at least fifty total files. A new something was wrong when I was looking through the game book and it had a picture with Auron 2 thousand HP.
I kinda hope that its the one you put the most time into with this show of dedication. Wait you alos said you played XIII for atleast 200 hours so you must have put a lot of time into X:shock:
