User Videos Player is down

Most of the vids I have uploaded are no longer working. Anyone else having this problem?

Yep, it seems there is a problem -- uploaded vids that worked before now are not working (you click on play and after a second it displays *replay*) .

I think you're right. All of the vids that I've uploaded that no longer work have the dreaded red 'X' in the lower right hand corner. I'm hoping this gets resolved eventually. I'd hate to have to upload all of those again.

I'm not 100% sure about this, but it seems that the videos that will not play are also not showing their thumbnails and preview frames. The videos that are showing their thumbnails and preview frames still work. Maybe a video database thing? Wild guess. Perhaps some kind of maintenance is in progress, but it doesn't 'feel' that way...g_max_

this is whats happeneing to me, videos without preview, instead have red x and no pic are not working. hit play and 2 seconds later it comes to replay.

im also haveing problems uploadingWMV videos. encoding failed...anybody else? i am not trying to hijack, im only mentioning this because my discovery of the encoding failedproblem coinsided with the first time i saw the red Xs on my videos preview. the 2 issues may not be un related... all my videos are WMV. maybe a WMV glitch or issue?

I am having the same problem... even with videos that show that they are there, not red x.

I checked the user submitted vids page, and it looks like the majority of the vids are down. Guess I'll contact tech support.

Will this thread be updated when the problem is fixed?

I checked it just now and the player seems to be working on many of the latest uploaded videos.

Can you all post links to the broken user videos you come across?

I had that problem too this whole week,but today some of the Castlevania videos that I watch often are working fine again.Thanks!
