Some game review pages are broken, for instance the main review page for assassin's creed II http://www.gamespot.com/assassins-creed-ii/reviews/ directs you to a ac2 mobile only page with no reviews or user reviews.

*demotes #10 to #9001**promotes the cat to #1* !!!

Anyway, for #6, workaround is to simply check no filters - as long as none are checked and they're not modified it'll display games, several of the other filters work fine in the meantime.

Speaking of games, several display outright invalid (december 2098) release dates - to my knowledge this is partially due to only US release dates being listed (useless for those of us in europe/UK, as well as for those in AU or JP, etc). Being US release dates only is of course a problem in itself, as a pretty darn large part of the userbase of GS is not in the US.

There's another issue too though - game-pages that merge several games across several systems with the same name (that are not necessarily the same games in any way shape or form, there has been reports of completely different and unrelated (beyond the name/inspiration) games being merged into one page - such as the 1993 and 1994, SNES and Sega Megadrive/Genesis (respectively), Shadowrun games each by a different dev, with one being a precursor to the other at most) display only 1 release date as well - the earliest of the dates for game releases.
Clearly the other release dates are in the system, but they're not accessible directly from the summary page or even at all in some cases it seems. This is especially noticeable when looking at remakes of old games that share the name with the older one on other platforms as the displayed release date and the release date you're actually looking for can occasionally be a decade or more apart, especially for handheld remakes of old console games.
Release dates for individual releases per console/version/region are rather useful and should be easily visible/accessible to users, especially seen as the vast majority are already stored in the GS database from the old site.

The WYSIWYG editor has some issues too, though nothing on the scale of what the old one did. Most notably using shift+enter to try and get a single line down (one <br/> tag) often (but not always, just most the time) adds 2 tags instead of one, resulting in the same visual end result as adding an extra pair of paragraph tags (like pressing enter on it's own does) unless you then press delete/backspace to remove one of the tags.

There's also issues with the (limited access) 'code' button, where it shows the html accurately upon entering it, but modifies it considerably upon leaving it, adding multiple paragraph tags in unwanted areas (such as around italicised (em) words and changing break tags into paragraph ones, even though the editor itself added them initially), as well as outright removing several other basic tags/attributes, including some that the editor itself adds. This of course makes the feature pretty darn useless because it completely changes the output from what is entered. It's possible that's not fully implemented yet but in it's current form it's certainly disappointingly useless.
Interestingly, these same bugs occur when editing a post (or even cutting and pasting the post back into the same editor without reloading the page or anything) - as if it reads in the code from the post, modifies it to remove br tags and add unwanted p tags (including those around italicised words, etc), and then displays that modified version in the editor - with a bunch of unwanted gaps, some in really stupid places. Of course with it affecting edits (and presumably anything pasted into the editor) that means it probably affects almost everyone, rather than just those that happen to try and use the code button (even if only to view the post code rather than modify anything).

There's plenty of other (mostly minor) issues too but they're all over this forum as is and I'm sure they'll get the attention they need.

I do not remember a website update so bad as this one.

The staks are an offense to all people that spent time to create their list in years. Did you find the designer in a bag of chips?

After posting, why do I have to refresh the page to make another post?

Is that a bug, or some sick intended feature, thought up by a lunatic?

In all fairness, there should be no need to make 2 posts in a row - there's an edit function if you forgot something before pressing submit. That said, while the post editor usually disappears, it doesn't always it seems, which suggests it may well be a bug - that or there's specific scenarios in which it isn't being removed when it should be.
