I think GS should release a new skin for basic (free) members. It would be slick and cool looking to bring a fresh look and approach to this site while on the forums. It isnt needed but would be highly appreciated.
To be honest this site is already functional enough for basic users, Gamespot has to make money some way and i think to make the premium side of Gs more premium would be more of an option. If there are to be more skins they will be subscriber only.
You mean a new forum skin? The idea was brought up a long time ago to make the old forum skin an option to choose from,but it was never worked on. But,if the option was made and if it was for subscribers only,I'd go for it.
This would probably make subscribers mad again. Remember what happened when basic members could finally post user videos? Well, nothing totally bad happened, but there were many disagreements and quarrels. The more stuff free members get, the more seldom subscriptions will become. I really agree with meischris.

A lot of us were upset about that because we thought that it was going to be a feature that was only for us. I don't think more skins for everyone are necessary, but subscribers should get more skins. (i.e.the look before the redesign)
