Locking this thread in favor of the refreshed benchmark sticky which can be located here.

For all benches a please post your results like so...

"Score 1000000, 4770k @4.0GHz, Titan X @1000/1000"

Please include your clock speeds as these benches often get them wrong so either include a GpuZ/CpuZ grab or just write them.

For Unigine Heaven and Valley please use the settings and resolutions shown, we have 1080 and 1440 versions of both. Both are the same setting with different resolutions.

Please include a screen grab of your results :D

3DMark standalone or through Steam

For 3Dmark please include a link to the score page and make sure onboard GPU's are off.

Firestrike Ultra, Firestrike Extreme, Firestrike and Skydiver are all supported in this thread.

Enjoy

@Coseniath: Added, it's what it used to be like. Then it was merged. Now it's back as separate entities.

Is that 970 even overclocked?

@klunt_bumskrint: Well I prefer it how it was before, cause things will be complicated.

Lets say I wanted to ask about witcher 3 performance with certain GPUs. Where do I post? :P

This GTX970 is the Gigabyte G1 which comes with factory o/c 1178/1753. Its boost suppose to reach 1329 but it reaches 1405. I didn't even touch(oc) anything...

Same happens with 4770K@3,7GHz. The motherboard enabled o/c when I used XMP at 3,9GHz (something like turbo at all cores). I disabled that manually cause I didn't like the 1,15V on the core.

Then when I checked it, it was running @3,7GHz with 1,08V which was fine for me. I think this setting is used from Ivybridge where motherboards manufacturers were o/c the CPUs to 3,7GHz by default...

That would be a hardware question as you are asking specifically about the gpu's performance.

So then everything apart from gameplay questions about PC gaming should be here I guess.

@Coseniath: No OC at all on the 4770K? Damn. 1.08V is low though. I'm running at 1.31 for 4.5 on my 3570K.

@horgen: I am using RealTemp 24h/day. :P

Today was a little hot for May. 23C.

So for today at idle status I have 27C and on a max CPU usage gaming I have 55C.

I have all my fans on silent mode. :P

ps: I am not o/cing cause I haven't find anything at the moment that makes my CPU limiting things at 1080p.

Ok... So here are some scores. And please do import my old Firestrike score at least. I can run Firestrike Ultra again, as I have modified the bios on my GPU since I last ran it.

Firestrike Extreme: 3900 - i5 3570K @ 4-5GHz - GTX 680 @ 1373/1727 -Horgen

I'm not sure why it says extreme HD preset on the 1080 tests here, as all I did was changing the resolution from 1440. Also I might be running an old version of Valley and Heaven Benchmark. I'm not sure. Long time since I dl it and I haven't updated it since then.

As for clocks on these 4 tests, all were the same.

i5 3570K @ 4.5 - GTX 680 @ 1293/1502 - Horgen

Last time I tried to run Unigine Valley I had black screen and PC not responding.

This happens only in fullscreen mode while in windowed mode runs fine.

Any ideas of what could be wrong?

Update: yeap I tried it, it runs fine in windowed, black screen with pc I guess still active cause it plays the music...

Like I said it runs fine on windowed mode :(.

wtf?

Unigine go home, you are drunk! My GPU doesn't run at 1519MHz! :P

@Coseniath: It could be unstable overclock or it could be a shitty version of Unigine. You can try downloading a newer version and see what happens.

I am not overclocking and I run everything else fine (every game and every benchmark, from furmark to firestrike), included a windowed version of Unigine, multiple times in a row....

It clearly has something to do with fullscreen mode...

I read this before, I think I tried it, with no success. But I will try it again.

Do you guyz run Unigine without AB OSD? Just not run it or completely uninstall it?

Well then it's most likely that exact version of Unigine that's having problems with full screen.

Updated, along with my own.

Firestrike Extreme and Firestrike

Plenty of headroom left for OC. This is the first try with stock custom bios.

@klunt_bumskrint: Maxwell handles a high core clock well I must say. I wonder if Pascal will increase that even more.

How much did that allow you to raise the voltage?

Last time I took the Ultra test I got over 1000 points... Now I got 625. No point in adding it to the list, but I wonder why it suddenly fell 40% when my set up is the same. (low score is because the test require 3GB+ card, I got a 2GB card)

Even 1000 would be low. Since @insane_metalist scored 5000 with a 290 crossfire, we can assume that a single 290 could easily do 2500-3000. At 4K even with the VRAM limit, your GPU is 33% slower than 290 (aka 290 is 50% faster).

So if we do the math, your GPU should score between 1700 and 2000.

So I guess its a VRAM limit issue.

@Coseniath: 4gb cards score around 1800 points when rest of the setup is similar to mine.

Single 290 scores 2.8K.

Just as I calculated.

Its more than obvious that 2GB is limiting GTX680 at 4K.

Yeah, but why did my score drop 40% all of a sudden? That I find weird.

I guess that after some updates they might change the need of VRAM amount.

So if the program needs 2200MB VRAM sometime, you will probably have nice framerates with some hiccups.

If the program needs 2500MB VRAM and more than 2GB average, you would probably have this 40% performance drops.

I think that the last updates could add more VRAM needed, but still less than 3GB, but this small amount increase, is devastating for a 2GB VRAM.

I guess. Still version 1.1 but yeah there have been minor updates to 3Ddmark since my first run.

Not many people on this forums are submitting their benches. Could we do something about it?
