Edit: This was taken from the Nvidia forums but after going through the information, this does not apply to Kepler or Fermi series cards.

lol A lot of hating happening on the Nvidia forums.

Nvidia has announced, per Driver Notes, that Geforce 6xx and Geforce 7xx cards have been dropped to Legacy support.

So if this doesn't refer to the 600 and 700 series and the 6000 and 7000 series were dropped ages ago, what exactly does this mean?

Wait a min.

This is saying that legacy support is happening when the driver was in 304*.

And the 310* wouldn't support Kepler.

Since Maxwell appeared at 344* build, was Kepler, their only models legacy till then? LOL

Obviously a misunderstood...

I'm not worried. Nvidia is referring to 10-year old cards.

It does seem like the Kepler cards are not getting the proper loving these days though.

Well this is true in Witcher 3 and Project Cars.

But as I said before... 304 build was ages away and Maxwell wasn't even at fabs...

This about legacy refers to old 6 and 7 series...

Nvidia tends to support their cards a really really long time so I won't be surprised if this is in fact referring to the 6xxx and 7xxx cards.
