Seriously? How is that hate speech? I attacked a political party, not a ethnic group or single person. Good lord.

It is not appropriate to make direct, insulting attacks on any group of people, whether "protected" or not. While you did not provide details regarding your questions (were you moderated, auto-filtered or informed by another moderator that your comment was inappropriate?), assuming the statement was something you posted, your post is purely insulting and does not promote actual discussion: it is considered flaming and disruptive. If you don't like what a group is doing, it is perfectly acceptable to argue your case as long as you do not make direct, more personal insults and as long as your posts remain on-topic.
