OK could have been better

To me the best F1 game ever was on the old Amiga back in the day's when Damon Hill was roaring around the track.

This does have charm though and is a good way to while away the hours, the career mode is a good addition but it is either too easy on the easy setting or too high i jump in standard in the medium, you will probably spend most of the season as a test driver for Jordan, Minardi or the only other choice at the start when you apply to join them, ok this can get you used to different tracks as you test the car and race to beat the number 2 driver for his seat.

The controls are a little off, if you use automatic gears as most will do till they get used to the handling of the car you will notice that the car does not accelerate at the right point from the turn you can compensate by releasing the button and pressing it very quickly but all this is timing.

The lack of any commentary does let this game down a lot not hard to find someone who will say you have won but they missed on the sound.

All in all a pretty good game but can be made better, the car set up is a good idea and it does matter how you set up your car practice and patients will turn you in to a good mechanic.

Have fun
