"Is the F1 05 concept car really with in the design regulations?" Unlike F1 04, F1 05 has a real pick u
Graphically it's nice and smooth when driving on board. But if features like engine vibration and high speed blur prove to be distracting you can always turn them off, but keep high speed zoom on that way you can get a better view of the track around you and look out for other drivers overtaking you by pulling out of your slipstream. Graphically the best part is checking out the cars in the garage (cor blimey they're nice and shiney!).
Moving onto sound. Now each different engine make has a different sound even though they're all 3.0 litre 19,000rpm V10 engines, SCEE have got the sounds and tone of the engines bang on target again (compare the sound of the Ferrari to the McLaren, Renault or Williams BMW, you'll tell the difference). ITV F1 commentators James Allen and Mark Blundell feature in the game but it seems they're not putting in an effort in commentating as they did in Formula 1 2003.
So there you have it. My opinion is that this the best F1 simulation out there (except USA unfortunately). The gameplay functions really well, the graphics and sound mix and form a compound that makes the game superb. Recomened for all Formula 1 fans I say!
