I liked this game, the game felt realistic, unlike 'Cooking Mama'. Although, the game is a little complicated...

User Rating: 7.5 | Food Network: Cook or Be Cooked WII
Let me get this disclaimer out of the way now, I love cooking, I even watch cooking shows on Food Network, some of my favorite chefs are Alton Brown and Giada De Laurentiis. I am also getting interested in Japanese Cuisine.
So when I saw the trailer of this game, I wanted it.
I am only a teenager, but my mind is not in the stage that I only like shooters, unlike my older brother and his friends. They seem to think that the Xbox 360 is the only good console and first-person shooters are the only good genre, but I digress.

This game is very underrated, most people tell you to stay away from this title, but I think it is the best cooking game have ever played, I cannot compare this to the 'Cooking Mama' series, mainly because that game is sort of like a mini game collection packed to emulate real cooking.
Most people give this game a bad rating because it says there is 30+ recipes and that only give you 12, with most of them you have to unlock, but it's a misunderstanding, as the booklet contains 30+ recipes, not the game.
The graphics are decent (I've seen better and worse), the food doesn't look as pretty as in 'Cooking Mama', but that is only because 'Cooking Mama' has their food designs mainly 2D, and 'Cook or Be Cooked' has their food mainly 3D.
The controls feel sharp and easy to use.

The only thing about the game play I found annoying, is that you may accidentally flip a Pancake too early or take your burgers out of the oven too early, this is because to advance in the recipe, when it's available, you have to shake the Nunchuck, which I did frequently.

Eventually, you will get sick of this game, but you will go back and play it more after a week or two. I really enjoyed it, and I would recommend it to anybody who enjoys to cook.
