This game is not only bad it's also a huge waste of time. The dialogue and by association the quest logs are more painful to read than an illiterate middle schoolers chat logs. Every second in this game is a struggle and working up to the coveted flight mode only leads to disappointment once you realize you are still trapped on the same island you had been working to escape. Little customization or depth is present and the economy is so unbalanced that you'd be better off just buying quest items with your mountain of cash. Overall this game looks like it was given up on halfway through and released only to sell premium items. If you like the cuteness then I suggest playing Mabinogi. One positive thing I can say about FlyFF is that there are plenty of opportunities to gain new skills which become essential during the constant level grind. Luckily monster placement is good and it's not as easy to wander into deadly territory. I lost interest in this game years ago but perhaps one day I will try once again to make it off the first stupid island. However due to the constant influx of free-to-play MMO titles available to me, I see little reason to return.
I started playing this game not too long ago and the controls are identical or similar to almost every other PC based RPG out there so while there is a tutorial it's really not needed if you've ever played an RPG before.... Read Full Review
