fans will love it!
Playing this game if you are a fan, is just as satisfying as watching an episode of the anime. The fist of the north star franchise always had such great potential to make a great game. Its got awesome characters and premise where the main characters have super martial arts powers.
Being a massive fan, I for one have waited hungrily for about 20 years for a decent fist of the north star game. So far this one is the easily the best one yet. I enjoyed punching my through the hordes of punks and then using the super cinematic finishers on the bosses. - just like how it is in the anime.
One thing however that i do disagree with the previous reviewer, is that i think it does play a little too much similar to dynasty warriors. Its got the same core game engine, same style of play, same level designs. The main thing that separates the two are the finishers and signature moves. I think they could have easily put in more effort in to making it more different so its more its own game. The camera is sometimes annoying as you regularly have to pan it around so you can see probably. If it were not for these 2 things i would have given it a higher rating.
So if your a fan and thinking about buying this game, do it! you wont regret it!
