Decent if your multi-playing, but not worth playing solo

If you put an adventure game and a pinball game in a blender and mixed them up, you'd get Firestriker. A little bit adventure, a little bit pinball...but for the most part, a big mess.

The object is to beat your fireball through the goal on the other side of the area, using it to blast through all the monsters and blocks in your way. If you're playing solo, then you can control the 'goalkeeper' yourself, who stands at the bottom of the screen to block the fireball from breaking through your blocks and ending the level. In multiplayer, up to four people can play as one of several characters (each different, if only slightly).

While the game does feature adventure-style game gameplay, such as bosses, mini-bosses, recruiting characters, and a weak plotline, the main reason to play this will be for the multiplay. The game also comes with a couple of multiplayer minigames. A sort of pong-soccer combination ended up being my favorite.

Unfortunatly, the music wasn't that good, and the graphics are about average. All in all, the game will probably be a dissapointment to most people, and will only be repeatidly played if you have friends over to play it with.
