For hardcore fans, and noobies alike, Fire Emblem is a must have for the DS.

If your a grizzled veteran in fire emblem or most other strategic action genre games, then you wont be disappointed by fire emblem and the 5th level of hard mode (which is absurdly hard). It also comes with the uber option of reclassing any character (except thieves and marth, the lord) to any other class you like. Which is really cool and awesome, but its kindof a backfire, cuz there are some classes that are really weak, in comparison to others. Like for instance, the Hero, loses LOTS of stats when toned down to a berserker. But it also helps for say if your purposely killing off your people to unlock the gaiden levels, you can even out your army between archers etc.
What i found was extremely disappointing was Fire Emblem's lackluster story and its blank unattachable characters. Especially for a series that has had AWESOME story and characters. For example Marth, whos dialogue is very bland "I will go home and take falchion to kill the dragon" thats pretty much him talking in a nutshell, not to mention there is almost NO dialogue in the story, although the prologue has good characters (although it is new, gasp!)
But no matter what i say, this is by far my fave DS game to date, although my least favorite fe game to date. Unfortunately...
