Game is attracting and beautiful with great story and characters. but something is just missing...

I really liked the story and the game itself was really beautiful. with some new characters added and with new abilities it was enjoyable. But still i think something was missing, something every other final fantasy had. it didnt have so much content as i expected this game to have, it was quite a let down.
It was furstrating to level up with only small missions to be done over and over again. it didnt feel like it was second part, more like with few familiar characters and just all new game and world. for first game ive played with DS i think it was still ok.
there could have been more better graphic scenes, not only at start, middle (penelo's dance) and ending, that was kinda mizerable too...
I dont know do i really like all-time-summoning of espers/yarhi or do i hate it, it was really weird play like that through whole game but atleast the scions were good to play with for theyr powerfull and all
