What is there not to like of this game!!!???

User Rating: 10 | Final Fantasy X (Mega Hits!) PS2
Final Fantasy X revolutionized rpg's for the PS2. The story is very good. In fact, it is so good that I actually beat the story 4 times. The story has many twists and turns. The final boss is expected (Jetch), and yet at the same time very surprising.
Final Fantasy X made a completely original way of leveling up. I wouldn't even call it leveling up. You have this thing called a sphere grid. As you fight fiends, you do gain exp., but your level ups just let you move in the sphere grid. The best thing about this, even though some spheres are hard to gat, there is only one sphere grid for all characters. This is good, any character can move, with enough level ups, to any part of the sphere grid. This means, for example, the black mage Lulu can be a warrior with the right spheres. Also you can turn, Yuna, the white mage, into a thief, or Auron, the muscle of the party into any mage.
I really would love to write the whole story of Final Fantasy X, but that would take a lot of time, which I don't have that much time as I also like to do a lot of excersie. So I'll give a brief summary of the game.
You start off in this city called Zanarkand. It's all futuristic. You are playing, in a cutscene, blitzball (Which you can really play later in the game!). A big monster atacks the city. Auron, friend of yours goes with you as you are both transported to the future. You travel through a cave, meat some people called Al beds. They all speak a different language, except a girl called Rikku. Sin atacks you (this is the same monster that atacked you at Zanarkand),
You wake up on a beach, and make friends with a lot of people.
You meat a summoner and decide to help her out in finding the final aeon. This si the only aeon powerful enough to defeat sin.
After a long series of events that include going to jail, a desert, and fighting a boss called seymour, you reach the final aeon. You find out that every time a summoner defeats sin, the thing that controls sin, called Yu Yevon, takes control of the final aeon and it becomes a new sin.
You don't get the final aeon. You travel inside sin (by making a whole on his side). You fight seymour one last time in there and fight Jetch, Tidus's father, who happens to be sin as you find out in the game. You kill Jetch and Yu Yevon.
After that, Tidus finds out that he was just a dream in Spira and dissappears (which is very sad). Your friends are heros in the end. Yuna is still looking for Tidus. The story then goes on to Final Fantasy X-2. If you liked my review, I might be making a review for Final Fantasy X-2.
Oh, yeah, I nearly forgot. In Final Fantasy X world edition, There is an alternate story.
