Play the game first before you make assumptions
An emotional background behind the story, this is a journey about Yuna, trying to find some clues on where her love Tidus could be. These three ladies Jet set around the world in search for spheres. Some of these spheres can be equipped and change the characters appearance and performance stats.
The game is divided into chapters and percentage points. In short, the more percentage points you have toward the end of the game, the more of the ending you will see.
Despite what you may have heard from other critics, you cannot really take someone else's opinion on the game unless you have played it yourself. I personally found FFX-2 to be fun and interesting, even though I thought it was still lacking essence like its partner FFX
A big annoyance I had was the tardiness of the girls. Well I should say Rikku and Yuna. Basically they are dressed like hookers and act like total idiots half the time, but in a weird way still manage to make you laugh.
Be prepared; If you want to fully appreciate this game be prepared for side quests!
FFX-2 uses an active realtime battle system which kicks some serious butt. If you are a true FF fan, or perhaps a bit bored, just play it before you make assumptions on this game.
