time wasting

User Rating: 4 | Final Fantasy X-2 PS2
-graphics are pretty good, bright, shiny, nice for a ps2 game
-the music is modern compaired the past final fantasy releases, jazz, techno and pop mind numbinly take the place of the past classic ff music
-voice acting is great
-the 3 main characters are yuna, rikku and newest addition paine. yunas interest in saving titus after seeing him in a sphere is about her only real interesting quality, her ff 10 grace and intelligence is thrown out the window in favor of a overly girlie talking brash attitude. rikku seems to have stopped maturing in the time span bewteen the ff x and x-2 so she still feels like a child hanging on a times.
-the story starts out promissing, yuna sees someone like titus in a sphere and heads of on a quest to save him. unfourtunetly the story becomes secondary to side quests and mini games which start to get boring farly fast, when the main story started to develop it was all to late, becasue it cans happen that you will loose interest.
-battle system is easy and hard at the same time. atb (active time battle) allows you to change classes in middle of the battle
-game play is not linear. it is a mission based system with almost no direction. you must speak with every npc and make all sidequests to have a perfect end.
