First Final Fantasy I played and now I'm hooked!

Quite possibly the longest game I've ever played! 4 disks long, each one jam packed with stuff to do and missions to complete. There's no rest for a SeeD, the elite mercenaries of Balamb Garden, and that's exactly what you are in this game. Immediately, you are thrown into a world where the hero is in training to become a SeeD and then has to save the world from a sorceress intent on controlling the world in the past, present and future.

Obviously, you cannot complete this task alone so you are accompanied by many other unique characters that advance the story and fight in battle with you. Anyone you fight with can become as powerful as you want them to be through the junctioning system, where you can use magic and GFs (like summons) which can be called forth to cause major damage in battle.

Simply, the storyline is strange and unusual, but absolutely amazing. The first cut scene when you first start the game draws you in and makes you want more. The characters feel like real people in your mind so you often end up sharing their pain or excitement.

The bottom line: unmissable. If you're after a great RPG with an unusual story, go for this.
