This is how a game should be
This game is just awesome. Plenty of character, each one is unique in its own way, you feel the urge to know what will happen to your crew. Few game in our time acheive that, caring for caracter.
The story is very nice and involving. Even the bad guys are interesting. Funny jokes and many great ideas even with the limited technology.
One of the most important part of the game... the music, the music give all the emotions. You know, every caracter have a theme and there are many theme of to give us the proper emotion. Something lost in modern game.
Kefka is one of the best bad guy with Sephiroth. He is really bad, cruel and sometimes funny.
Graphics, at the time they were the best of the best but even now, they deliver what we need to know. I think this is something devlopper should check more... before makes great graphics ... create some caracter with emotion... in FFVI they are small, in 2D but god ... they have deliver more emotion than many modern RPG
So in all, FFVI is like many SNES games ... an instant classic that will never feel old
