I’ve played through this game around three times, and have managed to master it. Every time I play through this game I manage to pick something up that I didn't before. The replay value is great, there are tons of extras involved that makes this a truly in depth and personal game. The game has great character development, and it manages to get you involved deeply. It has great landscapes that give the game a unique and original feel that captivates the player. It intertwines the 17th century European architecture with new age technology perfectly. I would also have to say, being a fan of Nobuo Uematsu's compositions in the previous Final Fantasy games, that Final Fantasy IX delivered greatly in the musical department and made the experience all the better. The plot had a few holes in it; I think that they could have done some more explaining about Zidane's History, such as, where he came from and how he got to Gaia. They could have explained more about who the hell that Garland guy that appears in the end of the game with the red glowing sphere in his stomach is. What’s up with that guy? They could have given more history on him. But besides all that it was an interesting story. The game play is great, the story kept me wanting to play more, the music was a knock out and the graphics were outstanding. The game was great from the beginning of disk one to the end of disk four. If you do not own this game, then you had better remedy that.
