I just finished the game and have some mixed feelings about it. On a positive note, the battle system itself was cool, the story was top-notch, there were some nice mini games as well as lots of small side quests, and the environments were perfect as well as the enemies you face, but the only things lacking that would have made this game perfect is a level-up system, maybe obtaining other powers as you defeat enemies (Like Goldenrod's for example) where there were no need for weapons as you were a bearer, and maybe having a party (thought belle and the yuke were gonna make one with me......proved wrong) and maybe some longer/more involved side quests. The battle system became repetitive although the miasma idea was pretty cool Other than these, game was great. I will not stop buying or playing the FF series. I'm a fan for life. Looking forward to the next one that comes out for the wii (if any).
