User Rating: 8.5 | Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers WII
I could come up with alot of reason why this game did not do so hot but I won't instead you can take this reveiw from me. A huge Final Fantasy fan who has never liked The Crystal Chronicles Series. So this should mean something.

The Crystal Bearers is not an RPG that Final Fantasy Is known for instead it is more of a Action Adventure game. The whole game revolves around his Telekenetic powers. Your combat is done through Telekenisis, puzzles are solved through telekenisis. Throughout the game you control Layle a young Clavat who has a crystal in his left cheek. The yuke were wiped out by the Lilties in a war, but when one appears and starts collecting crystal shards The story takes a drastic turn. Layle starts to pursue the Yuke to learn what it is after. But things are not as they appear, who is really the enemy in this game.

Gameplay is astonishing during combat you pick up items and hurl them at your enemy, sounds boring right it isn't really. Some enemies take some strategy to beat, you can also pick up and throw your enemies at each other thats a blast. The unique feel that comes from battle comes from the bosses. The very first boss that you entcounter is Bahumut. You can't hit him with an enemy but the enemies drop swords that you pick up and hurl at Bahumuts chest. during the second part of the battle layle must jump on bahumut and get him to lunge a spear through his chest. Outside of combat is just as fun if not funner. There is one part where you must sneek off a train by getting past the guards. In order to do so you must use things in your surronding, by flicking the wii remote. There is also one part where you must get to a certain person and you blend into the crowd by dancing with people. notes fly across the screen and you use the wii remote to dance your way to the front of the room. If your afraid of the wii controls don't be they feel and play comfortably and are easy to get the hang of.

The characters are great to but Layle is the best. His voice actor actually as a deep voice and not a high pitched voice that so many seem to have. Another thing that impresses me about Layle. Most games would give you a character who is irresponsible, annoying, and has no clue how to use Telekenisis, thats not the case at all Layle is quite aware of how to use his powers and that comes quite clear throughout the game.

So in conclusion this game is well worth checking out for anyone. It may not be the best and most exciting action game you'll ever play but it won't be the worst either. 8.5/10
