It's Zelda - except better!

If you have never played Final Fantasy Adventure and love The Legend of Zelda 1 and 3 then I urge you to play it now. It is, in my opinion, the best game on the original Game Boy. I won't go into all the details of why it is so good but let's just say everything from the graphics to the music are excellent.

My only gripes are:

1. The dungeons are very confusing and the auto-map goes away as soon as you leave the dungeon or the system is powered off.

2. The translation is awful; starting with the name change all the way down to the censored and cut-up script. The story in this game is extremely shallow but it was not like this in the original Japanese version.

Other than that this title is pure action RPG goodness and the save anywhere feature makes it perfect for gaming on the go. Remember this is not a real Final Fantasy game but the first game in the "Mana" (as it is known here in North America) series. It stands on its own and is wonderful.
