Good Game, But Could Be Better...

User Rating: 8 | Fight Night Round 4 PS3
BAD: First and foremost, the Legendary Mode is way to hard to get to GOAT. While I like a challenge, its a little unrealistic to land twice as many punches as your opponent and still lose the fight. I remember landing over a 100 more haymakers than my opponent and still getting knocked out. In one match, I landed more haymakers than my opponent threw punches and still lost. The training portion is a little too touchy due to the fact that the punch controls are on the analog stick. Trying to throw uppercuts often leds to different punches which wreaks your training scores. With the PS3 version being Blu-Ray, you would think EA would have been able to squeeze in a few more annoucer comments. It gets repetitive and annoying to hear every fight being touted as the "Greatest Fight Ever" by the annoucers. The email message system is just plain useless. EA needs to just plain drop this. Some of the speciality punches take too long to execute.

GOOD: The graphics are top notch. Tyson looks incredible and so does Ali. The knockdown system works well. The game becomes very hard at top level opponets which gives you a challenge.

I would have scored the game higher if it weren't for the sloopy controls and the repetive announcer quotes. Unrealistic amount of punches vs. opponents.

Overall this is a fun game, and an good addition to your sports title collection.
