Brings a new defensive 'collision' system, lives up to the hype generally but 'collision' system needs some tweaking

Fifa 12 is another great effort by EA Sports in a yearly series that has quite high expectations. The built in Ultimate team mode is encouraging to see while the redeveloped online 'head to head' system is a step in the right direction.

The main query with most gamers is the new defensive system so radically different to the previous games. It was an excellent idea to create a new system that better replicates the real game. This has been backed up by the various pro's would publicly announce they play the game for example Lescott of Manchester City.

While the defensive system brings a greater sense of realism to the game it does have its flaws as a new system and that's where it loses marks. In last years game the pro passing was excellently done after trial of sorts in previous versions. This is where one is hoping EA is on their game and has a plan to further refine this system for excellent gaming by 2013.

Bravo to EA for continuing to change the game and to anyone who reads this FIFA 12 is an excellent game and highly recommended just remember there is better to come as the great series continues.
