A few positives and a lot of negatives, EA Sports have not listened to the gamer's.

For me the FIFA series have been the most time consuming game I play on without getting bored, so for me it has been great when stuck at home doing nothing but this year it has been 3rd most time consuming game as I get so frustrated with it I have to go on GTA and crack a few skulls. The main feature I use on FIFA is career mode but FIFA 12 this year has made that IMPOSSIBLE for me, so I try to set my Player Manager career mode up but after pressing advance on "game settings" It crashes. FIFA have probably created a patch for this error but since I don't have broadband (I use a dongle to get on the internet and will hopefully be getting broadband soon) I can't play on Career mode what so ever therefore making FIFA 12 a faulty product. Just so anyone is getting bored or depressed of my rant here are a few positives finally FIFA have made hitting volleys realistic woohoo no more tapping shoot and seeing your soft volley fly up and magically disappear into the crowd! I don't know about anyone else but the tackling system is great and far more realistic rather than holding down O or B and easily winning the ball but now you have time your tackles which is a lot more realistic. Right back to the negatives, this hype about the player impact engine... let's face it, IT DOES NOT WORK, I'm a guy with an eye to detail and I have studied many decisions that have gone against me. In a match one time I was tackled in the box and I was sure my players leg was in between the the ball and the tackling players foot, so if you imagine the tackling player would of took out my player and not even get the ball but no, this was not the case after examining the incident the tackling players foot went straight through my players standing foot and ankle deeming it not to make any contact when it should of done and in doing so the tackling player touched the ball away for one of his team mates to happily clear the ball away! Now on many forums I have seen comments asking for more realistic crowds and fans but FIFA have not listened and kept the same crowd for what about 10 years now? And has a football spectator I am offended by this as they act like sheep or lemmings! All mirror imaging each others actions and when a goal is scored it takes them around 4 seconds to react and all's they do is stand up shake there arms a little and sit back down after 5 seconds. Next negative is defending tactics, they simply do not work, I was playing a match against Wigan Athletic on world class difficulty and noticed the Hugo Rodellega was playing on the last man and getting fed through balls and he had 3 1 on 1's and luckily for me he missed 2 and one was saved I knew a easy way to solve this was to set up a offside trap so I did all the necessary tactics to do this and carried on playing, I got dispossessed in midfield and a Wigan midfielder played a through ball to Rodellega who was on the last man but guess what my defender was doing? Standing right behind him, offside trap? I think not. I will finish off by saying why is Anfield's (Liverpool FC) ground so wide? If you notice the goals are like 10 meters away from the stands on the game but in real life they are around 2 meters away, yes this is a bit picky but every other teams stadiums are perfect! I hope next year FIFA sort these problems out otherwise I simply won't be buying the game. I hope that if you have read this you have understood where I am coming from and if you have any ideas how I can fix my first issue please please do not hesitate to contact me.
