Best FIFA and soccer game till now...
A sports fan and player myself, i always set the bar high for sport simulations. Fifa couldn't even reach the basis for the past years, and PES ended up to be my soccer game of choice. Till Fifa 10 where the revolution began.
This year it might be the year of EA's Fifa. Fifa 12 features amazing fast paced game-play, beautiful animations and redefines the defense system, which after the shooting and goal scoring part is the most important part of soccer.
I know that most of you, don't care about defense and concentrate on scoring as many goals as possible, though who can deny that the most beautiful goals are scored after an amazing defense and counter attack.
This was well understood by the folks at EA and that's what they tried to accomplish in Fifa 12. It takes time and a bit more concentration than pressing a button and hope to get the ball, but it offers some nice high adrenaline moments, in head to head matches, a sensation close to what a defender feels in moments of agony.
Further more the game features a more fluent game-play system. For like 98% of the situations there's an animation for it allowing your pixel players to be as authentic as their real-life counterparts.
For me this year it's clearly Fifa 12. For one because it's the more realistic soccer simulation, which now extends to multiplayer too. On the other hand, because of Pes disappointing for the last 2 years.
For me Pes lost its routes and while there 're many denying that, till Konami revolutionizes its game or at least make a remake of Pes 6, Fifa it is....
