Its back to that Pro Evo vs Fifa argument again.
I have Pro on the PS3 and its great fun. Fun especially when you have friends around and your on an all nighter of video game crazyness. Pro is surely the centre of attention with nearly everyone i've ever met, and Fifa just doesnt get a mention. Its pretty clear why.
I can't comment on how Fifa plays on the PS3, but it plays so poorly on the PC. Its a poor effort from EA unfortunately. The graphics are not great, and the gameplay is just terrible. The way you perform tricks, or can practically shoot from anywhere and score a great goal nearly all the time- its all too familiar to Fifa 08 last year. Don't expect any hugh improvements.
Lets not even begin talking about the numerous posts on forums about how people are having problems using a controller, or certain video/sound issues, but there is alot of problems that even the latest patches cant address. Well its too late now, Fifa 10 is in development so this release is now forgotten about.
The only plus points is how they have recreated the footballers to look and act almost like they do in real life, and some of the goals you score do look great on the replay. That aside, this game may wow you for the first hour due to the nice looking EA graphics engine but will soon be left to gather dust.
Pro Evo, hats off to you once again for me being so naive and thinking Fifa will be better than you this year. LOL. It just will never happen.
