Even an American guy like myself who never even played soccer (football) will get instantly hooked on this fantastic game. The playability is incredible and you get the hang of it after just a few matches. Each player actually looks very similar to their real-life appearance along with realistic playing styles. Being able to fully access the game simultaneously as both player and manager is really cool. You can buy players and even create your own. This game is fully functional allowing you to take control of teams in all the major professional soccer leagues worldwide. I really liked the tournament mode as well where you can create your own World Cup-like contest. Being the manager is a lot of fun because as you get more wins under your belt and complete Board Expectations, you can go on to coach better teams and also are able to attract better players to your club. The great thing about Manager Mode is that you can also play each match in real-time, use Visual Sim where you can enter the match at any point before time expires, or a Quick Sim to instantly gain a match result.
