The game sports good mechanics and controls that propel the other positive aspects of the game. The movements of the players are fairly realistic, but of course the graphics are not exactly perfect. The players are a little blurred and there are only so many different looks for the characters, but you can see enough differences in the looks of the players to distinguish one versus another.
The sound of the game is nice between the field sounds and the crowd enthusiasm. You can tell when players slam into each other and the crowd goes wild when you score a goal or block a shot.
The combination of multiplayer, season play, and World Cup action help to make this a great buy. If this doesn't get you into soccer, then there is no hope for you to eventually get into it.
