Best Soccer title of its time.

This is clearly one of the best soccer titles of its time. While there are a few minor problems here and there, EA presented a very solid game for all to enjoy. With multiple types of gameplay, a season mode, and ability to change line-up and formation easily and quickly this is a very strong soccer title as should be picked up as soon as possible.

The graphics are the one thing holding this game back. The player sprites are all the same, and very little detail goes into them. The numbers are hard to make out, and all teams who share the same color look the same.
Road to the World Cup also does a poor job of including team and player ability into game play and making a team more advantageous or less adventageous, so winning comes down completely to the gamers skill.

EA presented all the major leagues, and all the national team. Along with some club teams for each nation, which really gives the game a good variety to choose from. There are also a slew of fields to play on, including an indoor court which is fast pase and very fun to play in.

The replay feature is easy to use, but must be used soon after a play is made, as the memory for the replay is rather short. There is a quick game option to pick up games against either a computer or another human player. Both feel very rewarding to play and win in.
