If you are fans of manager games, and fans of football than this is the game you need.
Just at the beginning of the game, you can whether choose to be a club manager, a club and national team manager, to found a new club or play the career. When choosing the club manager, you choose one random club and it can be any club you want. In the club and national team manager you also lead a national team manager, you can`t choose a national team alone, you get offers according to your level of managing. The found a club is pretty cool, you choose your own name, own dresses, where that club is going to be, just everything. The next step in choosing the role in the club, choosing between Manager only, Manager & Director of football, Manager & Chief Executive or just everyting. You can also randomly click what areas of responsibility will you take (Lineup, tactics, player contracts, finances, staff etc.).
When choosing the club, your career starts off. The team has some time before the actual season, so prepare them with doing training. Training are in two styles, the first one is all players training, the second style is two or three groups, maybe also fours but you would need an extra manager that helps you. You can manage these groups alone, in one group strikers and midfielders, in the second there should be defenders. Goalkeepers have their own goalkeeper-trainer. To two sessions on one day in all-players training you can choose from several training, there are a lot ( Long and short sprints, passing, shooting, weights room, penance, offside-trap etc.) just everything that is in football.
From the training to the financials, contracts, your staff that you can manage alone. Fire them, hire new one. My point is that you can make the game suit to you, the club is yours, do with it whatever you want. Buy new super-stars, make new tactics, motivate, criticize player, its your choice. One point in tactics, its really crushing making your own tactics, in the positions of the players, who is the play-maker, to the style of the game—meaning that you can make players play more aggressive, passing on the flanks, direct passing etc.—Then there is the transferring market, in which you buy player, first make a offer than wait few days to get an answer and then make deal with him. But remember you can`t buy every player, because some are just unavailable, whether having a the contract with an other club or just then are too happy in that club. You get news—mails—almost every day, telling you about the conditions of your player, if the board members are happy with your work, just everything to always be updated with news and things.
Then there is the marketing, within Merchandising—selling things like shirts, socks, autographed balls, things the clubs name on it—You can design the kit of the dress and these thing. You can change add-board in your stadium, what I don’t really understand why, so ignore that one. But don’t ignore this one, selling tickets, you can raise the price of tickets in different blocks, so away fans and home fans, also VIP- block so the prices are not the same on all block. I should also say something about the facilities, club facilities, stadium expansions and youth camp. Ok one at the other, the club facilities where you have various building like research facility, training grounds, club centre, media centre, youth department, medical department already at the beginning, then you can build one of the things listen there, like a hotel, language school, shopping center, boarding school, restaurant and tons more. Not that you can construct new building, you can also extend that one that you already have. The next thing is the stadium expansion, where you can expand the size of the stadium and also add new thing in it, like the big score-screen, more chairs etc. The last thing is the youth camps, where you build youth camps everywhere in the world, where you just can. Building youth camps makes young players to expand their vision in football.
Now I think that was enough about this and that out from the football fields, lets come to the matches. You can either choose to watch the match in a 3-D mode, what is very good made. The text mode, where you just see the highlights of the match and of course the goals. Or the best for me the instant result- mode, the best way to win almost every match, in instant result you have a box stop first in the half-time, where you substitute players and that things than after that its just the score to read. When watching the 3-D mode you will have famous FIFA commentators talking, who we all know( don’t know how to write them down). If you don’t have the nervous to watch the game in a normal way when doing nothing, you can just double the speed or even to forth-time speed. I think this is it for the matches, what is it that I forgot, lets take a overview.
Oh yes, I forgot that you can speak, before and after the matches with the press and tell them your thoughts. Well, you don’t write them alone, you click the proper answer to the question they give to you. So the main gameplay in this FIFA Manager 06 is all about the players, the contracts and to keep up the trophy room full to make the bosses happy. The same thing over and over again, setting training, match, setting training, match, contracts, injuries, my opinion of the game is and im going to tell it now. They made a good game with lots of features, they didn’t do anything wrong by my point of view, maybe Im blind, but the game becomes boring doing the same thing over and over again, recycling thing. But that’s not the fault of the developers, it just cant be different, the game is like that and nobody could change it.
Gameplay- Like I said recycling thing, doing the same process over and over again, but if we cut that off its great.
Graphics-Yes, here we could have a smile, I schould give it a good one, the graphics are only in the 3-D mode so we cant put out the graphics –Smile—
Sound—Im disappointed in this point, should say very disappointed, there are a pair of songs that are playing them over and over again like the gameplay. Oh come one, they should really give more song, more. Though that, you can add in your song, but I forgot how, sry.
Value-Not really a big option, just the career, no multi playing- as said I cant be different
