Besides some minor flaws in goalie control, FIFA 06 is probably the best PS2 soccer-sim for most fans.

I've always liked soccer, but I was never really into pro soccer until i played the FIFA games. FIFA 06 for the ps2 reminds me why I enjoy the game so much.

The gameplay is tremendous, realistic, and addicting, the only flaw is that the goalies are inconsistant. One minute they'll save a point blank shot off the foot of Wayne Rooney, next minute a header from the 18 yard line bounces 3 times and somehow manages to sneak into the goal. The computer goalies don't charge when they should at times, allowing fast offenders to get easy breaks.

The player's faces look intense and realistic, perfectly suited for the ps2. I perticularly liked the announcing in the game and the sound track was good, but I didn't like the fact that on my English version of the game i got songs in different languages...doesn't make much sense to me.

All in All, FIFA 06 revives my passion for soccer (football) every time I play the game.
