Tuesday: Getting Even in Blacklight: Retribution

Urban warfare continues today with the free-to-play first-person shooter Blacklight: Retribution. In our demo, Jared Gerritzen, creative studio head at Zombie Studios, talks us through two of the game's multiplayer modes. The first is Net Warfare, which is a variant of capture the flag. In Net Warfare there is still a flag, as well as four neutral capture points that you can secure and bring the flag to for points--assuming the other team doesn't interfere. The second mode is Siege, which plays a bit like Team Fortress 2's Payload mode, only instead of controlling a tiny mine cart, one player gets to drive a giant spider robot. The future is just full of technological marvels, which you can see more of in the video below.
