FIFA Street is soon returning to the pitch, with a reboot of the series arriving on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in March. The new Street puts the emphasis on fancy footwork, introducing more than 50 new tricks for players such as Lionel Messi and Wayne Rooney. We were lucky enough to catch up with Gary Paterson, creative director of the FIFA series, as well as FIFA skills guru Marius Hjerpseth, to showcase some of the new tricks you can use to humiliate your opponent.

Marius Hjerpseth (playing here as Argentina) shows us up with some of the new tricks available in FIFA Street.

Here we re-created our own Milan Derby, but with slightly different rules. In Last Man Standing, when a goal is scored, the scoring player is lost. The first team to lose all their players wins in this fun new game mode.

Tricks are the key to winning in the Panna game mode. Pulling off multiple tricks without scoring puts points in your bank. Tricks such as the panna, in which you humiliate your opponent by passing the ball through his legs, earn you more points than simply flicking the ball above his head. Scoring nets you the points, but beware--if your opponent scores before you do, your points are lost.

This close match of Last Man Standing was played on one of the new locations in the game--the Shanghai rooftop.

FIFA Street will be released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on March 13 in the US and on March 16 in the UK. Those who have purchased an EA Sports Season Ticket will get digital access to the full game three days prior to launch. Let us know your thoughts on the game in the comments below.
