Greatest Game of All Time

User Rating: 10 | Helix: Fear Effect PS
With so many games trying to be realist, it can be hard to forget that they can be artist too. Fear Effect 2 starts out as a normal flashy game that pits you against the typical robots and henchmen, but quickly pulls a trap door from under you and lets you fall deeper and deeper into a demon infested hell. The gradually change in the types of enemies keeps it more than interesting. The story (the best feature) is very very well done with high producion values and voice acting from real voice actors (ie Wendy Lee). As with all the other survival-horror games, there are puzzles. With FE2, you actually have to figure them out instead of playing a dumb game of trail and error. Plus the puzzles your given never seem out of place, instead of just being there as a excuse to extend to game for another 10 minutes. The cel-shading (which they invented) allows the game to be the best looking game on the PS1. Every part of this game is great. Buy it, play it, love it, and play it again.
