If you liked the first Far Cry, do not hesitate to pick this up for two good games at a good price.

The first Far Cry for xbox was one of my favorites for the original and this addition to my library was an easy choice to make. The graphics are still good due to the fact that this game was pushing the original xbox to it's limits. However the graphics are also not up to par for next gen but far from bad. The combination of sneaking, trapping, gunning and flat out tearing through troops with feral abilities makes Far Cry as diverse as any shooter. The vehicles take a minute to get used to but the high speed runs are some of the games coolest moments and fun even on repeat play throughs. The first campaign is as good as it ever was and the second, even though a little short, is still a strong edition to this series. If you've never tried map-making this is an easy and fun game to learn on. The sky is practically the limit with tons of land creation options and the sweet additon of ziplines, try it if you don't believe me. For a mere $20 you can jam through two fun games and maybe get your feet wet with mapmaking. I would not hesitate to recommend this game as your fun " I never played this one" FPS.
