If you like old-school, turn-based, rock, paper, scissors games this game is certainly one of the best to be released in that category since Disciples or HOMM V. The graphics and sound are pretty good for this type of game as well. If you like old-school, turn based strategy games that reward carefully considered unit positioning and tactics you'll like this game. In addition, it provides a CRPG element in that your units gain experience and new abilities as they progress. This provides a sense of attachment to your units as you progress through the game because the new abilities they gain as they level can have a substial impact on their effectiveness, and if you're like me you will not accept losing a single one of your experienced units. This adds an extra degree of difficulty for those of you who like me want to preserve all your experience units in each of the battle maps. Not losing any of your experienced units can be a significant challenge on some of the tougher maps, but that aspect only added to my enjoyment of the game. Highly recommended.
