The Family Guy Game is quite possibly in the top ten of worst games of all time.

Wow...... This is terrible...... I mean wow. Really.
I am a big Family Guy fan. I've seen every single episode.
So, as a fan, when I heard of the game, I wanted to play it. I go and buy it and play it.
For the first twenty minutes, it's solid. Not amazing, but good.
Once you get into it though, it unravels horrible gameplay.
The tutorial was simple. Find pieces for your gun, playing as Stewie. Then go outside and try to thwart your half-brother Bertram (excuse me if I misspelled that) from using your PTV broadcast signal to the whole world.
You play as three characters from Family Guy in this game: Stewie, Peter, and Brian. Although in certain parts you can play as other characters for a short period of time such as "Greased-Up Deaf Guy", Quagmire, and Death. But for the levels, you play as Brian, Peter, and Stewie.
Each have their own story that fits in with the TV series.
Stewie's story is trying to stop Bertram and ends up sending him into Peter's insides. So you go through shoot-em-up levels.
Peter's story is quite possibly the funniest. After the PTV broadcast dish falls on top of him, Peter wakes up in the hospital and all he can remember is the "Mr. Belvadear Show" (again, excuse me if I misspelled that) and has the idea that Mr. Belvadear has kidnapped his family and must be stopped. So you go through beat-em-up levels.
With Brian, you learn that you have been framed for a crime involving Mr. Pewtishmit's dog, SeaBreeze. You must escape the jail, while evading sight to clear your name. Brian's levels are the worst. They're the most frustrating and tedious.
Stewie's levels are probably the best, and they're not even that good. Basically platforming with third-person shooting and occasional puzzles. Main downside is that the platforming part can get very annoying as some jumps are nearly impossible to land, but you get very close.
Peter's levels are worse than Stewie's but not quite as bad as Brian's. A close second for worst, though. Peter's levels could have been the best, if it wasn't for the combos. Each class of enemy has a different combo that MUST be hit in the order or it does absolutely no damage. You have to usually hit three buttons in sequence and very quickly to do damage and if done even slightly incorrect, no damage is done. This is very very annoying especially since the enemies usually come on the screen by the dozens. And it's kinda weird that you fight little children as Peter as well...... Yes.. You fight children as Stewie, but that's not as odd. And the Clamshell boss at the end of Peter's levels are nearly impossible.
Here we are.... Brian's levels. Lemme tell you... I gave this game a 3.0. If Brian's levels weren't in this game at all, I woulda given it at least a 4.0. They're THAT bad. To successfully hide you must either be under a desk or in the shadows. Seems easy, right?
WRONG!! WRONG WRONG WRONG!!!!!
People are constantly twirling around as if they think you're there. Even when you're in a place like a TV set, it's hard to stay hidden. Disguises don't even work right. For some reason whenever you put on a disguise, it makes Brian have to go to the bathroom.... And apparently if he goes in a plant than he has to take off his disguise..... That didn't even make since at all.... And it gets stupid that you cannot be seen by ANYONE. I'd understand just not cops, but apparently every single little four-year-old watches the news enough to know that there's a dog that looks just like you that did something bad.
Although, there are some upsides...
The mini-games are fairly fun and humorous.
The custscenes are usually funny.
We would have also liked a level-replayer. There are some levels that were somewhat fun and we can't reply them unless we start a whole new saved game. You can, though replay minigames. That's just not enough.
I would have also liked the option to choose who's storyline I play at the time. That way if I'm stuck with Brian's level and I want to play Stewie again, I could.
Really. I actually recommend buying this game just so you can see what it's like to nearly brake your controller in half.
DO NOT GET THIS GAME!!!!!
