Control issues, lack of story, and terrible AI make this a boring romp through the Fallout universe we all know and love

I'm a HUGE Fallout fan and was tickled to find this for only a couple of bucks on GOG.com, but that elation depleted quickly only a few hours into this game. Numerous niggling issues just took the fun away, causing the player to have to frequently reload whenever they occurred. When moving characters, you only single click (no double-click confirmation like most tactical games allow), so I found myself very often making people run towards their target (Noooo!) instead of shoot their target, as the cursor somehow strayed from being directly on the enemy right as I clicked. Frequently, when one character is moving and you select another to move, when the first character's movement is done, the game will automatically randomly select other squad members right as you are clicking to move the other character you just chose, causing painstaking hiding or flanking positions to be ruined as the other teammates now run out into the open. The enemy AI is often not smart enough to run away when outgunned or being shot, or when in a position where you can hit them but not vice versa. They'll sometimes get stuck on a piece of the environment and just stand there... The pathfinding is also ABYSMAL for your characters. The inventory management is incredibly cumbersome, and it is nigh impossible to return to base and attempt to store things for later without it taking at least 30 minutes as you must close an open container before opening it every time, and containers inexplicably only hold 100 lbs of equipment. I could go on, and on (trust me) but this poorly made game has already taken enough time out of my life. Time to move on...
